I have a similar problem, you remember you gave me some different bios files for latitude 5420 and I tried them but it didn't work and the problem is not your bios files but it's because I damaged the original bios chip so if I program the bios to those different chip it doesn't work even the original file which I did a back up, so I thought he succeeded on using a single file on different laptops, Dell latitude 5420. Thanks
